This pattern includes step by step instructions for crocheting a Twisteria Witch Hat that will fit the average adult sized head (22.5in). It also includes guidance on how to adjust the pattern to get your desired size/fit. One of my pattern testers even made a toddler sized hat using this pattern and their adjustments are included in the gallery of testers for folks to use as a reference.
As like most of my patterns, there are tons of photos (52 to be exact) included in this pattern to help folks who are visual learners get through this project. I have labeled this pattern as intermediate; however, because of all the photos that are included, I believe adventurous, experienced beginners will be able to get through this project as well.

I'm only about halfway through the pattern, so take my review with a grain of salt! I'm having a great time; I've found some sections pretty challenging and had to double check the meaning for some of the stitches listed as I worked. This pattern is definitely not meant for beginners- it assumes a level of familiarity with all your basic stitches, increases, decreases, working in the round, and adjusting your project's number of stitches to fit by yourself. If you're not at that level yet, this project may be frustrating. The pictures are excellent and I'm so pleased with the quantity of them! If I had to make one nitpick, it would be a suggestion to start your project working inside-out until about round 22/stuffing. It was much much too cramped for me to work right side out until at least round 20.
I love it
